ToggleSegway Tour Budapest
We’ve never been keen on using a Segway for a tour before but it ended up being great fun!
This was our first time on a Segway and we have to say it was brilliant. We were given 1:1 tuition before we set off on our tour. There was a great guide with the group, so help was on hand for those who needed it.
One of the nice things about a Segway tour is that you can navigate hills and long distances quite easily. We managed to see both the Buda and Pest sides of the Danube. We saw the Hungarian Parliament Building, Castle Hill, St. Stephen’s Basilica, Hungarian State Opera House and Buda Castle.
This was a great tour with a fantastic guide.
Brief Overview
Segway Tours Budapest Hungary‘s first Segway tour operator, was happy to offer the wonderful experience of riding around the beautiful capital of Hungary on the most amazing, most ingenious, most fascinating and most fun to drive vehicle.
Not only do you glide through the beautiful pedestrian streets, parks and places of Budapest without getting tired of walking, or without being closed behind the windows of a sightseeing bus, but you also get a professional guide knowledgeable in historical and current-day information about Budapest.
There are great photo opportunities that you just won’t get by using a hop on bus In fact the experience itself of riding a Segway- almost like gliding through the streets – it is so much fun that everyone should try it once. And everyone means really everyone! Even small children and senior people can learn to ride these self-balancing devices in a few minutes.
It is also a perfect solution for people with restricted mobility and with difficulties of walking. The computers, gyroscops and sensors protect anyone from falling without any effort. We found using Segway’s was the best way for sightseeing this beautiful city.
